Ufa headquarters of Navalny failed to pay 8.6 million rubles in taxes - Federal Tax Service

The Ufa headquarters of Navalny failed to pay more than 8.6 million rubles in taxes for 2019, the Federal Tax Service for Bashkiria reports.
"As of June 18 this year, the nonprofit organization "Citizens' Rights Protection Fund "Shtab", has a debt of 8.649 million rubles arising from the non-payment in due time of obligatory charges calculated by the taxpayer in 2019," the press service of the department stated. "The tax authorities applied enforcement measures in the manner and terms established by the Tax Code of the Russian Federation. We have initiated bankruptcy proceedings due to the non-fulfillment of requirements and decisions on payment and collection of debt over three months. A corresponding statement has been filed with the arbitration court."
As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, proceeding in execution for the tax arrears collection from the Navalny Ufa headquarters for a total amount of 4.5 million rubles is in the regional office of the Federal Bailiff Service in Bashkiria. At the moment, 3 million rubles have been recovered.
Earlier it was reported that the FTS filed a lawsuit against the Fund for collecting tax arrears of more than 10 million rubles, then having reduced the claims to 7 million rubles, as well as declared the organization bankrupt.
The tax arrears are mainly unpaid insurance premiums for employees under labor contracts. That is, the organization did not consider it necessary to pay deductions to the Pension Fund, Social Insurance Fund, and Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund from the salaries of its activists and observers.
