10 megawatt solar power plant to be built in Agidel

The "Agidel SPP" investment project, which involves the construction of two solar power plant blocks in the city of Agidel with a total capacity of 10 megawatts, won the competitive selection for inclusion in the program of energy sector prospective development of Bashkiria.

The solar power plants belong to the type of renewable energy sources, the cost of operation of which is much higher than that of traditional power plants. Federal legislation creates special conditions for them in terms of tariffs.

The "Agidel SPP" investment project is designed for implementation within seven months and should be completed in 2020. The cost of creating one kilowatt of installed capacity is determined at 92.5 thousand rubles, and the total cost of the station will be about 925 million rubles. The established tariff will ensure a return on investment for 15 years at a rate of return of 12%.

Earlier, investors have already implemented four projects in Bashkortostan in the field of solar energy with a total capacity of 54 MW and the investments over 6 billion rubles. The Hevel Group of Companies plans to build four more new solar power plants in Kuyurgazinsky, Burzyansky, and Khaibullinsky districts. The volume of investments is estimated at 10 billion rubles. It is reported that the formation of all the projects is planned to be completed in the coming autumn.
