5.5 billion rubles will be allocated for rural infrastructure development in Bashkiria

5.5 billion rubles will be allocated for the infrastructure development in the villages of Bashkortostan in the next three years. Of these, 3 billion will be directed from the federal budget, 1.7 billion from the republican budget, 174 million from the local budget, and 666 million rubles from extrabudgetary sources. At a briefing session in the government, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov said that Bashkortostan was one of the three leaders among Russian regions in terms of attracting federal funds. The republic's share is 5.2% (out of 57.4 billion rubles). The subsidies to municipal areas this year will be about 1 billion 600 million rubles.
Financing of the new " Rural Areas Integrated Development" state program for 2020-2022 from the federal budget was to amount to 432.9 billion rubles. Actually, only 57.4 billion rubles will be allocated (excluding roads). So far, the federal budget funds for 2021–2022 in the area "The Modern Accomplishment of Rural Areas" of 16.8 billion rubles remained uncommitted.
The Head of Bashkortostan thanked the regional Ministry of Agriculture for the work done to improve the rural infrastructure in the republic. According to Radiy Khabirov, the department should work hard to attract additional money from the uncommitted 17 billion rubles.
