31.1 billion rubles will be allocated for national projects in Bashkiria in 2020

The total amount of budget funds provided for national projects is 31.1 billion rubles in 2020, of which federal funds are 20 billion rubles. In terms of federal funding, Bashkortostan ranks second in the Volga Federal District after the Samara Region. The first vice-premier - the government chief of staff, Ilshat Tazhitdinov, said that the best indicators were achieved with the implementation of such national projects as "Demography", "Culture", "Healthcare", "Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises".

Thus, more than 20 thousand families received monthly payments for the birth of the first child, as well as for the third or subsequent children. More than 700 childless couples participated in the free program of in vitro fertilization. Medical institutions are improving their technical facilities, receiving modern medical equipment.

The situation with the coronavirus pandemic gave a powerful impetus to the implementation of such a regional project as "Social Activity". According to the Minister of Youth Policy and Sports, Ruslan Khabibov, more than 5 thousand volunteers have already helped over 200 thousand residents of the republic who find themselves in forced isolation. Volunteers are actively working in Ufa, Salavat, Oktyabrsky, Ufimsky, and Tuimazinsky districts.

"Many thanks to our volunteers. An impressive amount of work has been done. The only thing is that I ask all colleagues to work more actively with federal ministries to regulate clearly issues of national projects timely financing," said the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov.
