Systems for smart manufacturing will be developed and implemented in the Alga special economic zone. One of the anchor residents of SEZ Smart Global LLC offered such an investment project. The director of the company Maxim Shpilkin shared the details of the project:

“Smart Global LLC —IT company, developing and implementing systems for “smart manufacturing” and “smart city”. Our main product SMARTSIZ is designed for petrochemical and oil refineries. And also, it is applicable to other industries.”

According to Maxim Shpilkin, a project is planned to create the production of devices for intelligent PPE and workwear in the Alga special economic zone. This system solves the problems of increasing the level of personnel safety, personnel control, and labor efficiency in industrial enterprises.

Nine residents have confirmed their intentions to implement projects in the SEZ “Alga” territory and will create 2,300 jobs in the region. These are enterprises in the field of petrochemistry, instrument-making microelectronics, and the food industry. The volume of declared investments is 26 billion rubles. Negotiations are underway with nine more investors on the implementation of projects worth 40 billion rubles.
