Radiy Khabirov called for accelerating work with investors at Alga SEZ

The Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov held a visiting meeting in the city of Ishimbay on the development of the “Alga” special economic zone (SEZ). It was attended by members of the government of the republic, heads of ministries and departments, representatives of enterprises - future SEZ residents.
The meeting participants noted that potential residents should make quick management decisions to locate their facilities here.
The total area of SEZ ​​plots is 470 hectares. Of these, more than half is already reserved for projects.
In the near future, it is necessary to conclude an agreement between the governments of Russia and Bashkortostan, district administrations, which will determine the strategic directions and stages of the SEZ development.
At the end of May, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the formation of this territory within the borders of the Ishimbaysky and Sterlitamaksky districts.
“It is a big victory to form here a special economic zone of the industrial-production type “Alga”! Thanks to everyone who helped us in our work”, said Radiy Khabirov.
Deputy Prime Minister Ilshat Tazhitdinov will coordinate SEZ activities. The Head of the Republic instructed the Government RB to begin preparatory and pre-project work to create all the necessary infrastructure for investors, as well as to work out new regional tools to support projects.
The total amount of investments in infrastructure exceeds 6.3 billion rubles until 2025, including budget expenditures estimated at 3.3 billion rubles. The SEZ issues development will be considered by a special working group once every two months.
Nine residents have confirmed their intentions to implement projects in the SEZ “Alga” territory and will create 2,300 jobs in the region. These are enterprises in the field of petrochemistry, instrument-making microelectronics, and the food industry. The volume of declared investments is 26 billion rubles. Negotiations are underway with nine more investors on the implementation of projects worth 40 billion rubles.
