Tuymazy plans to create furniture manufacturing cluster

During his working trip to the Tuimazy district, Radiy Khabirov visited the production site of the orthopedic mattress factory Korona LLC. The company has been operating in the region since 2005 and is a large industrial complex with modern equipment for the mattresses manufacture.

The factory produces more than 50 models for adults and children. The team makes up to 15 thousand mattresses per month. In 2018-2019, the company carried out modernization, starting the production of soft interior beds. To this end, they purchased high-tech equipment worth more than 43 million rubles. There are plans to expand the line of these products.

According to the director of the factory Ramil Mamleev, these products are in demand both in Bashkortostan and outside the republic. In the context of the coronavirus pandemic, there is a certain decrease in sales, though not affecting the plans for the company development. It is necessary to select a land plot to implement new projects.

The Head of the Region also examined the exposition of product samples from other furniture manufacturers working in Tuymazy – “Veles” and “Apogei” companies. As the Minister of Industry and Energy RB Alexander Sheldyaev explained, a specialized cluster is being formed in the municipality, and the ministry plans to work out the possibilities for its comprehensive support.

The Head of Bashkortostan also studied equipment samples from the Tuymazinsky concrete truck plant, specializing in the manufacture of construction and utility vehicles on the KAMAZ chassis.

Radiy Khabirov discussed with the enterprise management the possibility of expanding the range of equipment for various industries. He noted that Bashkortostan needed a local producer for successful competition with suppliers from other regions.
