The state support measure for innovative companies in the form of grants will be launched for the first time in Bashkiria, the press service of the regional government reports.
In 2020, 14 million rubles are allocated for these purposes. In subsequent years, it is planned to increase funding.
Grants in the form of subsidies for innovative activities of clusters can be used to pay for work and services in the technical field (engineering, industrial design), consulting and marketing services, acquisition of equipment and technologies (rights to patents and licenses), certification of goods, works or services, explained the Minister of Industry and Energy of Bashkiria Alexander Sheldyaev.
“Grants are provided on a competitive selection basis,” he said. “The maximum grant provided to one recipient will be 4 million rubles. Nowadays, small innovative enterprises of universities are active.”
Meanwhile, as the first vice-premier of the republican government, Andrei Nazarov, stated, innovative developments in industry imply, first of all, the search for a replacement for imported components in production.
“Therefore, it is necessary to introduce advanced scientific developments in industrial processes actively. Thus, the government will support R&D small enterprises in the region,” Andrei Nazarov summed up.
