Cash expenses of Bashkiria residents exceeded their income by 4.4 billion rubles

The total cash income of the population of Bashkiria for the first January-March of this year amounted to 332.6 billion rubles and increased by 3.4% compared with the first quarter of 2019, the republic’s statistics reported.

Meanwhile, the cash expenditures of the population in January-March 2020 amounted to 337 billion rubles. This is 3.3% more than a year ago.

The population of Bashkiria spent on the purchase of goods and services 299.6 billion rubles (103.1% from January-March 2019), on mandatory payments and various contributions - 34.8 billion rubles (105.3%).

As the Bashinform News Agency previously reported, the average per capita income in January-March of this year amounted to 27,452 rubles.

At the same time, nominal income per capita, compared with the first quarter of 2019, increased by 3.7%, real income - by 0.9%.

The average salary in the republic in January-March of the current year amounted to 35,880 rubles.
