One-third of respondents reported reduction in wages in Bashkiria

The hh.ru research service interviewed the residents of Bashkiria and found out how their salary changed with the onset of the coronavirus pandemic. It turned out that a third of those surveyed had their salaries reduced.
55% of respondents said that their wages had not changed at all; 12 % found it difficult to answer. 3%, on the contrary, had an increase in salary.
For comparison: in Russia as a whole, salaries fell among 45% of respondents, increased by 1%, and did not change - among 44%.
"More often than others, representatives of the professional sectors "Sales", "Arts, Entertainment, Media", "Administrative Staff", "Marketing, Advertising, PR", "Science, Education" and "Higher management" reported salary decrease. In addition, of course, there is a significant drop in the incomes of people employed in tourism, hotels, restaurants. By the way, 36% of Russians whose salaries have not yet decreased, believe that this may happen soon, another 44% are sure that revenue reduction will not occur", added Anna Osipova, head of the press service of hh.ru Ural.
