Albina Gazizova: “I would like to establish Bashkir Trading House in Italy”

The former Ufa native Albina Gazizova is an ordinary representative of the family business in Italy. The general knowledge and skills of entrepreneurship that she acquired during Russia’s roaring 1990s helped her to “start from scratch”, develop a family start-up in a foreign country: after she married an Italian and left Russia, Albina managed to naturally integrate into a completely new environment and scored a success.

Besides, Albina is trying to find opportunities to introduce her native republic to Italy. Last year, she was a delegate to the next World Kurultay of Bashkirs in Ufa, and during the period of self-isolation, which remains today in most countries of the world, she actively communicates with many other immigrants from Bashkiria in the group “We are from Bashkiria”, created by her on Facebook. Our countrywoman dreams that a Bashkir house will appear in her native Italy, which has become for her.

“I often receive various offers from the Republic of Bashkortostan, from Moscow, as well as the Italians have a great interest in Russia. In the future, there are plans to represent in Italy the interests of some Russian companies wishing to export their goods. We want to acquaint Italians with the investment potential of Bashkortostan, for example, to organize bilateral business events. This year I held several meetings with fellow countrymen in Italy. I plan to continue to organize them, to conduct individual tours both for Russians in Italy, and to bring Europeans to Bashkiria. I would very much like to create the Bashkir Trading House in Italy”, our compatriot shares her plans.
