Chelyabinsk Sigma invests 1.6 billion rubles in reconstruction of Chishminsky elevator

The reconstruction of the elevator complex continues at the Chishminsky oil extraction plant. The first stage was held back in 2014, the Ministry of Agriculture reminded. Then, two grain dryers manufactured by the Danish company Cimbria and 10 metal silos for storing Spanish oilseeds, Symaga, with a capacity of 9 thousand m3 each, a new two-story raw material laboratory equipped with a pneumatic sample extractor were built and put into operation.
At that time, the capacity of the elevator complex was increased by 90 thousand m3. In 2016, the third Cimbria grain dryer was put into operation.
Now the second stage of modernization is underway. In 2019, another 9 new silos were built and commissioned. The completion of the second stage of reconstruction is scheduled for 2021 when it is planned to build four more silos and a fourth grain dryer. This will increase the capacity of the complex from 170 thousand m3 to 220 thousand m3.
Investments of the first stage of reconstruction are estimated at 850 million rubles, the second - at 740 million rubles.
The Chishminsky oil extraction plant, like the new oil extraction plant in Mayachny, belongs to the Sigma Chelyabinsk group.
Both plants are the main producers of oil and fat products in the republic: vegetable oils, sunflower and rapeseed meal are sold in the domestic market and for export.
