Bashkiria begins to produce material for medical suits

Production of material for medical suits will appear in Bashkiria. The project for the manufacture of spunbond - a non-woven material used for sewing medical clothes - was presented at an “Investment Hour” session in the Government RB by Alexei Kornilov, general director of the company developing automated complexes “Ural Robots”.

The businessman intends to invest 188 million rubles in the construction of a production and warehouse complex in the territory of Beloretsk and to purchase technological equipment.

According to the Minister of Industry and Energy RB, Alexander Sheldyaev, earlier materials for the manufacture of protective suits were supplied from other regions. With the implementation of the project, Bashkortostan will have its own manufacturer. Besides, enterprises of the furniture cluster are ready to acquire the spunbond.

The project is included in a priority list; it will receive preferential financing from the Industrial Development Fund. “We are pleased to support the project, its relevance is obvious,” said the Head of the Region Radiy Khabirov. “These are significant investments for the municipality, so I ask you to take this work highly responsible at the local level as well.”
