Bashkortostan Government is looking for investors for shipyard

The Government of Bashkortostan is looking for an investor for "Ship Repairing and Building Plant" LLC. It became known during the visit of the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov to the enterprise on May 11.

He examined the ships "Chaika", "Arslan Mubaryakov" and "Bashkortostan" and got acquainted with the project to optimize the property complex of the enterprise.

During a previous visit to the plant on February 20, Radiy Khabirov ordered to complete the repair of the ship "Chaika".

From May 1, the ship was supposed to open navigation. A difficult epidemiological situation prevented these plans.

The company, established in 1918, is one of the oldest in Ufa. The plant's capacities allow repairing up to 15 vessels at a time. By 2020, the factory workers repaired 14 units of the river fleet for a total of 25 million rubles. The business development plan of the enterprise provides for improving the infrastructure of the ports of Ufa and Agidel, deepening the bottom of the Belaya and Ufa rivers, expanding the fleet of ships of various classes to serve tourist and event routes. In the future, the enterprise should break even and attract additional investment.
