16 companies in Bashkortostan are ready to supply PPE from COVID-19

Sixteen enterprises from single-industry towns of Bashkiria were included in the list of Russian manufacturers that are ready to supply personal protective equipment against coronavirus to other cities of the country.

The Monotown Development Fund compiled the list in conjunction with the state-owned corporation VEB.RF to assist Russians in providing protection means against COVID-19.

16 enterprises in five single-industry towns of Bashkiria: Belebey, Beloretsk, Blagoveshchensk, Kumertau, and Neftekamsk, now produce individual protective equipment. Every day they make a total of about 18 thousand personal protective equipment.

Most of these enterprises are located in Blagoveshchensk. There are seven companies producing personal protective equipment in the territory of this single-industry town of the republic. Among them - the “Smena” municipal enterprise manufactures about 150 protective equipment per day, as well as the “EnergoSnabService” company, which produces about a thousand masks daily.

In Neftekamsk, “Metro” and “Kamea” enterprises altogether sew almost 9 thousand masks per day.
