Fredrik Reinfeldt: It is necessary to open borders of countries to restart economy

Ex-Prime Minister of Sweden Fredrik Reinfeldt is sure that the borders of countries should be opened to restart the economy in a crisis. He expressed his opinion at the First International Online Forum “The World After Coronavirus: View from the Heart of Eurasia”, which was held in Ufa on April 28.

“After the pandemic, a global recession will come. We will see a deep economic recess. What if the next pandemic begins next year? We need more faith in healthcare. We need to gain knowledge in order to deal with such pandemics effectively. Besides, it is necessary to open the borders of countries to restart the economy and open trade between countries. In this case, we will be able to restore all our capabilities. People should be able to travel and move from one country to another,” the speaker said.
