Radiy Khabirov thanked major charity givers for helping Bashkiria
Radiy Khabirov thanked major philanthropists for helping Bashkiria. “Last week, we were supported by cash contributions from BSC and UMMC. We have bought significant food packages with this money for those who especially need it,” he said at a briefing session in the government.
The Head of Bashkiria expressed his gratitude to InterRAO and personally to Boris Kovalchuk, who sent 30 million rubles to the republic. These funds will also provide support to citizens.
“Many companies are already engaged in this activity, they have begun to respond; they see that we need such help; we accept it with pleasure. Now our main task is to make it targeted,” said the head of the region.
Radiy Khabirov also thanked the regional branch of Sberbank for the 500 thousand masks that the branch had purchased for the republic. The protection means were delivered to pharmacies.
In recent days, residents of the republic noticed that face masks more often appear on sale, the quantity of sale is not limited, and the price of them has decreased.
However, the demand still needs to be saturated, Radiy Khabirov said.
