Number of jobs most noticeably decreased in Bashkiria in comparison with regions

In Bashkiria, the number of jobs decreased most noticeably: the number of vacancies decreased by 85 thousand over three years. Such data are provided by RIA Novosti analysts.

Over the past three years, the number of jobs has increased in 25 regions of Russia, decreased - in 60. The most favorable situation has developed in the labor market of Moscow and the Moscow region. During this period, 89 thousand new jobs appeared in the capital, in the Moscow Region - twice as many - 200 thousand.

Over the past ten years, in Bashkiria, the number of jobs decreased by 70 thousand, which amounted to 3.7 percent of the total number of jobs, the study reports.

The study was prepared by experts of the RIA Rating agency according to Rosstat. The number of jobs created is calculated as the difference in the average annual number of employees aged 15-72.

The data on the change in the number of employees in 2017-2019, over the past ten years - in 2010-2019, were used when assessing the trend over the past three years.
