Transportation of Ufa refineries products began on Belaya River

Navigation opened on the Belaya River. According to the State Transport Committee RB, the first vessels of “BashVolgotanker” set off from the oil piers of the Ufa refineries to the Nagaevsky transshipment complex. Then, cargo will be delivered by large ships to the port of St. Petersburg.

Rosneft is the principal charterer of “BashVolgotanker”. The supply of petroleum products from Ufa will constitute the bulk of the shipping company’s transportation. It is planned to transport up to 1 million tons of Bashkir oil products during the navigation, for which about 100 tankers and barges will be involved.

The cargo fleet is designed for a depth of at least 4 meters - a smaller depth will not allow full use of the loading capabilities of ships. Since 2017, dredging has been carried out for the passage of freight and cruise transport along the Belaya River.

The Ufa Shipping Company “BashVolgotanker” CJSC was established in 2000 by the Volga Oil Shipping Company “Volgotanker” JSC. The authorized capital of the company is 69.9 million rubles, the number of employees is about 900, according to the Kartoteka.ru service.
