About 2 thousand people may lose their jobs in Bashkiria due to crisis

In Bashkiria, 1,962 people may lose their jobs due to a reduction in staff or liquidation of enterprises. This is the data as of April 10 of the portal “Robota v Rossii”, on which enterprises and organizations are invited to share information about the labor market. So far, 3,946 Bashkir companies, in which 287 thousand people work, are registered on it. With an increase in the number of respondents, the representation will be supplemented.

According to the website, as of April 10, 8,418 people are working part-time in the republic, 17,742 people are in no activity regime, 1,275 people are on vacation without pay, and 33,500 people work remotely.

The figures were announced by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection Lenara Ivanova at a briefing session in the government of Bashkiria.
