Bashkiria received 1.23 billion rubles from the federal budget, to fight coronavirus. By order of the Russian Government, the funds have already arrived in the region; they will be used to prepare the healthcare facilities for work in the new conditions, the head of the Bashkir Ministry of Health Maxim Zabelin said at a daily briefing.

According to the minister, the funds will be used to re-equip the hospitals, where patients with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 will be treated. Necessary equipment will also be purchased and work to increase the number of beds with oxygen supplied will be financed.
