Protective masks daily production reached 43 thousand in Bashkiria

Republican enterprises of the light industry have reached the production capacity of more than 43 thousand reusable protective masks per day. The products are sold to the network of pharmacies of the SUE “Bashfarmacia”, to industrial enterprises and medical clinics. More than 35 manufacturers are engaged in tailoring - their total number has more than doubled in less than a week.

The goal set by the leadership of the republic to reach the production of 50 thousand masks per day, subject to the availability of materials, can be completed in the near future. Also, disposable masks in the amount of several hundred thousand pieces are imported by the region.

The main advantage of hygiene masks produced in Bashkiria is their reusability. After several hours of wearing, the mask can be washed, hot ironed and reused as intended.

The republic also has its own manufacturer of medical hydrogen peroxide disinfectant in concentrations of 3%, 6% and 30-40%. The daily production volume is more than 10 tons. Production is possible in capacities from 100 grams to 60 kg.
