Bashkiria residents paid 369.8 billion rubles for goods and services with cards in 2019

In general, in 2019, in Bashkiria, transactions were made to pay for goods and services in the amount of 369.8 billion rubles using cards, the press service of the National Bank of the Republic said.

Compared to 2018, this amount grew by a quarter last year. According to official figures, in 2019, out of 100 rubles on a bank card, every 38 rubles were used in a non-cash way (in 2018 - 34 rubles). At the same time, of all non-cash card transactions, 27% were made via the Internet.

In total, residents of the republic have 4.8 million active bank cards. This is 9% more than in 2018. On average, one card pays monthly goods and services in the amount of 4,603 rubles.

The number of electronic terminals for cashless payment of goods and services increased last year by 27%. Meanwhile, cash withdrawals decreased by 6%.
