Yekaterinburg businessman will produce marbled beef in north of Bashkiria

An investment project of “XII Let Oktyabrya” LLC on the cultivation of Aberdeen-Angus breed cattle is being implemented in the Askinsky district of Bashkiria. The project of a livestock enterprise for 1000 animals, which will produce marbled beef (110 tons per year) and pedigree cattle (280 animals per year), was approved at the “Investment Hour” session by the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov.

The investor requested support in reimbursing the cost of acquiring agricultural machinery and cattle, adding the project to the Priority List, assistance with obtaining borrowed funds - banks refuse the new company without a credit history. The company also asked for help in finding an organization that should approve the sanitary protection zone.

“XII Let Oktyabrya” LLC is owned by Yekaterinburg businessman Jalil Gizyatullin. The company was registered in September 2018 in Askino. Investments in the project are planned in the amount of 120 million rubles.

At the moment, about 15 million rubles have been invested, said the General Director Alexander Vinogradov: almost 1.5 thousand hectares of land were rented, the first batch of animals was purchased - 43 heifers and 2 bulls.

According to the General Director, such farms, with livestock mainly on grazing, are just starting to appear in Russia. The Aberdeen-Angus breed is adapted for open keeping, even in cold weather.

Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of Bashkiria Ilshat Fazrakhmanov noted that the conditions for the development of livestock in the north of the republic are most favorable: lack of industry, large areas for pasture.

As for the support measures, the authorities will do everything possible, said the Deputy Prime Minister. Thus, the project should be corrected in terms of jobs number to be included in the Investment Priority List (this will give tax benefits). The company will be compensated for part of the cost of not only heifers but also calves, which are not provided for according to the existing standards. The issue with the loan will be worked out, said Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.

Radiy Khabirov scheduled the next meeting in May. “I propose that the economic sector see the crisis as a development opportunity. This is a non-trivial task; one needs to learn from the experience of other countries that have managed to rise from the crisis. Many enterprises found themselves in a difficult situation, we will help them, and at the same time, we are ready to revise the budget to support investors, ”said Radiy Khabirov.
