Bashkortostan residents took mortgages for 86 billion rubles in 2019

Last year, high demand for loans remained among the population of Bashkiria, the press service of the National Bank of the Republic said.

In general, over the year, banks issued loans to residents of Bashkiria of 362.8 billion rubles. This is 11.7% more than in 2018.

Moreover, almost a quarter of loans issued are mortgage loans. In 2019, 46.2 thousand mortgage agreements worth 86.3 billion rubles were concluded. Compared to the record year 2018, this volume in the republic decreased slightly - by 6.5%.

“In turn, the volume of individual deposits increased by 7.9% in the republic in 2019 and reached 415.8 billion rubles. Over the past five years, the volume of deposits attracted by banks in the territory of Bashkiria has grown by one third (as of January 1, 2016 - 306.3 billion rubles). This trend is typical for all regions of Russia, ”the National Bank of Bashkiria noted.

As Bashinform News Agency earlier reported, the performance of the banking sector of Bashkiria last year had a positive trend, but its growth slowed down. According to most development indicators, the regional banking sector has maintained its position in Russia at the level of 2018.
