Bashkiria will receive 10.2 billion rubles for Eastern Exit construction in 2021-2022

1.5 billion rubles were allocated from the country's budget on the implementation of the Eastern Exit project connecting Salavat Yulaev Avenue and the M-5 federal highway by order of the Government of the Russian Federation of August 9, 2019. In 2021, according to the State Assembly - Kurultay RB, the republic will receive 2.2 billion rubles of federal funds, and in 2022 - 8 billion for the project.
The total cost of the Eastern Exit construction, which includes a 1.2-kilometer tunnel, a bridge with an overpass over the Ufa River, and the road to the M-5 highway, is 33.5 billion rubles. The construction period is designed for four years.
As previously reported, the federal budget should allocate 19.99 billion rubles for the creation of a transport corridor, the republic's budget 4.5 billion, and the concessionaire's funds will amount to 9.1 billion rubles.
The most expensive construction site is a road tunnel, the estimated cost of which is 12.9 billion rubles. The bridge will cost 2.7 billion rubles; the overpass will cost 5.8 billion rubles, the road to the M-5 highway, taking into account two transport interchanges, will cost 7.6 billion rubles.
According to calculations, after commissioning the Eastern Exit, up to 20 thousand cars will pass through it per day, even with the introduction of toll roads. By 2037, the daily traffic intensity may grow to 35 thousand vehicles.
