Radiy Khabirov announced launch of rural preferential mortgage program

The Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov announced the start of a program to provide preferential mortgages with an interest rate of up to 3 percent. He made a post about it on his social media.

“We are starting to subsidize the mortgage rate for those who purchase housing in rural areas. The regulations provide for the possibility of buying a house in the village at a minimum rate of 3 percent, and it will be possible to pay for it gradually over a period of 25 years. Everyone can get such a mortgage - it doesn’t matter, the townspeople or residents of the countryside. The amount of the mortgage loan (with an initial payment of 10%) is up to 3 million rubles. With this money, you can buy a solid house in almost any of our rural areas. In fact, this is a long installment plan. We know that in many countries, there is such an opportunity when people for decades pay the banks for the housing in which they already live at a minimum rate. Now, this opportunity is available to residents of Bashkortostan, ” the head of the republic posted.

Rosselkhozbank is already accepting applications; further, the list of banks will be expanded.

Radiy Khabirov emphasized that farmers and those who work or plan to work in agricultural enterprises will be able to count on a super preferential mortgage at a minimum rate of 0.1%.
