Austrian delegation arrives in Bashkiria to establish business contacts

A representative delegation of Austria will arrive in the capital of Bashkortostan on March 31, the press service of the State Committee for Foreign Economic Relations RB informed.

The delegation includes the Secretary-General of the Austrian Chamber of Economics Karlheinz Kopf, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to Russia Johannes Aigner, Trade Advisor to the Austrian Embassy in Moscow Rudolf Lukavsky, Vice President of the Austrian Industry Union Hubert Birch, Regional Director for Foreign Economic Relations with Eastern Europe and Gregor Postl, Advisor to the Austrian Investment Promotion Agency Peter Löschl, Head of the Representative Office of Bashkortostan in Austria Markus Scheiblhofer, as well as representatives of more than 20 Austrian companies from various sectors of the economy.

The main goal of the two-day visit is to establish business contacts and further develop mutually beneficial cooperation.

A preliminary agreement on a return visit was reached during a visit of business circles of Bashkortostan to Austria in November last year under the leadership of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic Andrey Nazarov.

Applications from enterprises and organizations for participation in negotiations with Austrian companies are accepted by e-mail austria.ufa@mail.ru until March 24.
