Two botanical gardens will be improved by private investors in Ufa

Private investors are preparing to implement landscaping projects of Nepeytsevsky Arboretum and George Rutto Park located in Ufa. This was stated by the mayor of the city of Ulfat Mustafin. The improvement program includes the creation of modern walking paths, the arrangement of recreation areas and the installation of small architectural forms.

Nepeytsevsky Botanical Garden is located between Shota Rustaveli Street and Ufa highway. There are more than 100 species of trees and shrubs in an area of 23.8 hectares. According to the investor, during the works planned for the spring-summer of 2020, lighting will appear in the garden, paths will be landscaped. Entrance groups will also be decorated and parking will be done on the site of demolished metal garages. All unique trees and shrubs in the park will receive nameplates.

George Rutto Park is a specially protected natural area, an arboretum in the Zelenaya Roscha neighborhood. The garden is located next to the Ufa Lemon Greenhouse, a sanatorium, and the Radio neighborhood.

According to Ulfat Mustafin, in addition to the announced projects, business people participated in the creation of comfortable recreation areas in the Yarkiy neighborhood and next to the MEGA shopping mall.

In general, in Ufa, about 1 billion rubles were directed for the improvement of public spaces in 2019. In 2020, it is planned to allocate 2 billion rubles for these purposes. In the near future, reconstruction of Kalinin and Neftekhimik Parks, the coastline of Lake Teploe, Demsky Park and several other facilities is planned.
