Tourism industry grew by 32% in Bashkiria in January

The travel services market increased by 32% in January 2020 compared with January 2019 - from 200 million rubles up to 270 million rubles, Kommersant-Ufa reports citing the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency. Tourism in the structure of paid services occupies 1.2%.
In terms of growth rates, the top three also include veterinary (growth of 13%, up to 27 million rubles) and legal (growth of 12%, up to 138 million rubles) services. Their share is 0.1% and 0.6%.
The turnover of the public utility services grew by 8.5%, to 4.89 billion rubles (22% of the total market for paid services), hospitality services - by 8%, up to 202 million rubles (0.9% of the market), health resorts - by 5.5%, up to 341 million rubles. (1.4%).
The consumer services market increased by 4% to 2.64 billion rubles (12.7% of the paid services market).
The turnover of organizations providing transport services decreased (by 0.5%, to 3.2 billion rubles - 14% of the market), telecom operators (by 6.7%, to 2.67 billion rubles - 12% of the market), cultural institutions (by 9% to 270 million rubles - 1.3% of the market).
The volume of medical services decreased by 1% in January, to 2.3 billion rubles (11% of the market), educational services - by 1.5%, up to 2.42 billion rubles (11% of the market).
