Special forum in Yalta

The organizers of the 6th Yalta International Economic Forum (YIEF), which will be held on April 23-25 this year, expect that its participants will be delegates from 100 countries, including the United States, Britain, and Ukraine.
It was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Forum Organizing Committee, First Deputy Prime Minister of Bashkiria Andrei Nazarov, TASS reports. According to him, the main topic of the forum is "Regions of Russia and the World". "For the first time, the constituent entities of the Russian Federation are brought to that level where we want to discuss how the Russian regions communicate with international communities, with other countries, how exports are growing, what technologies are applied, how experience is being exchanged," Nazarov said.
One of the results of the forum should be contracts worth at least 200 billion rubles. It is planned to sign agreements at the YIEF that were previously supposed to be signed at an Investment Forum in Sochi. "A number of these agreements and contracts are transferred to the YIEF venue. Bashkortostan also has prepared several such contracts to be signed in Yalta," he added, noting that one of the features of the sixth YIEF was the participation of three regions at once in its organization. "Three regions are preparing the Yalta Forum - along with the Republic of Crimea, now the Republic of Bashkortostan and Sevastopol," he added, specifying that Bashkiria's close ties with the peninsula explain its participation in this work.
