Industrial production index in Bashkiria doubled national average

The industry of Bashkiria showed positive results last year, the regional Ministry of Industry stated.

The industrial production index in the republic amounted to 104.2% in 2019, significantly exceeding the average Russian indicator - 102.4%.

By the end of the year, the volume of shipped own products, works, and services for a full range of organizations exceeded 1.7 trillion rubles.

“Bashkiria is steadily taking the leading position in Russia in the production of diesel fuel, soda ash, benzene, thermally polished flat glass, concrete pumps, automobile gasoline, ethylene, xylene, styrene, silica gel, wire, ropes, chipboards, primary plastics, synthetic rubbers, industrial furnaces, and chambers, primary oil refining, production of helicopters and non-alloy steel wire, ” the Minister of Industry and Energy of the region Alexander Sheldyaev specified.
