Hevel company intends to invest up to 5.5 billion rubles in new SPP creation in Bashkiria

The Hevel Group of Companies is expanding its business portfolio in the field of solar power generation in the territory of Bashkiria. In the next three years, it plans to invest up to 5.5 billion rubles in the creation of new solar power plants in the republic.
The corresponding agreement was signed on Wednesday on the sidelines of the Russian Industrial Forum in Ufa between the Government of Bashkiria and the Hevel company. In particular, it relates to the implementation of investment projects for solar power plant construction in the region.
The document was signed by the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov and the CEO of Hevel Regional Generation LLC Zoya Sandzhieva.
As the Bashinform News Agency reported, the largest solar power plant in the republic with industrial energy storage devices has been launched in the Burzyansky district of Bashkiria on February 26. Its capacity is 10 MW.
Burzyanskaya SPP of the Hevel company will combine independent operation and as a network station. An 8 MW drive will be able to maintain power during emergency outages. It is the largest power plant in Europe in terms of energy storage capacity.
At the moment in Bashkiria, there are Bugulchanskaya and Buribaevskaya solar power plants (SPP), launched in 2015 and 2016 in energy-deficient Khaibullinsky and Kuyurgazinsky districts.
With the launch of the Isyangulovskaya SPP at the end of 2017, the total solar generation capacity reached 44 megawatts in the region. In total, Hevel announced plans to build five plants in the republic with a total capacity of 65 MW by 2020.
Besides, a solar power plant with an installed generating capacity of 25 MW will appear in the Sterlibashevsky district of the republic, it will be built by Solar Systems.
Commissioning of the station is scheduled for 2020, the total investment amounted to 3.7 billion rubles.
