Increase in industrial production is marked in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, in January, statistics record the growth of industrial production - the index amounted to 101.9 percent compared to January 2019.
The increase in the indicator was facilitated by the production of paper and paper products, motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, other vehicles and equipment (2.0-2.3 times compared to January 2019), printing and copying (156.7 percent), production other finished products, medicines and materials (124.9-125.3 percent), food products, electrical equipment (116.8-118.5 percent), computers, electronic and optical products (111 percent), water supply; water disposal, organization of waste collection and disposal, pollution elimination activities (109.2 percent), production of textiles, mining (103.3-104.2 percent), production of machinery and equipment (101.9 percent).
At the same time, there is a 34-percent decrease in metallurgical production compared to January 2019, 19.5–22.1 percent in wood processing, furniture manufacturing, repair and installation of machinery and equipment,15.6 percent in beverage production, 10.2 percent in rubber and plastic products, 6.6-6.8 percent in oil products, finished metal products, 5.0-5.4 percent in leather and leather products, supplying electric energy, gas, and steam; air conditioning, 3.1-4.3 percent in production of clothing, chemicals, and chemical products, 1.4 percent in other non-metallic mineral products.
In the Russian Federation, the industrial production index in January 2020 amounted to 101.1 percent compared to January 2019.
In the regions of the Volga Federal District, this indicator ranged from 95 percent in the Ulyanovsk Region to 112.3 percent in the Republic of Mordovia.
