Bashkiria is first in Russia to begin subsidizing international certification costs

Bashkiria is the first among the Russian regions to begin subsidizing part of the entrepreneur expenses on international certification of products, according to the State Committee RB for Foreign Economic Relations.
“This year, 20 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes. The maximum subsidy to one applicant is 80% of the documented expenses, but not more than 2 million rubles, ”said the press secretary of the department Ilgizar Sanyarov.
Another measure of state support for entrepreneurs was developed in Bashkiria as part of the national project “International Cooperation and Export”, as well as national projects to develop the export of goods and services.
The decision to reimburse manufacturers part of the certification costs was made after a sociological survey of producers of the republic. 95% of respondents said that obtaining foreign certificates was one of the most expensive items of expenditure for the export of goods to foreign markets.
Another measure of state support already in force in Bashkiria is the republican program of partial subsidizing of exporters for the transportation of goods abroad.
The program started in the republic in June 2019. Due to it, the enterprises of the region could compensate up to 5 million rubles for expenses on regular deliveries and up to 1 million rubles for “pilot” shipments.
As the Bashinform News Agency reported earlier, this year's financing of the republican program of partial subsidizing of exporters for the transportation of goods abroad will continue. At the same time, the amount of financing was doubled and amounted to 80 million rubles.
Meanwhile, in general, in 2019, the number of exporters increased in Bashkiria by 12.6% and reached 911.
Of these, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses increased by 12.1%. By the end of the year, there were 730 small and medium-sized business exporters in the region.
Bashkiria's foreign trade turnover amounted to $ 4.88 billion last year, which is 10.9% less than in 2018. The export of the republic decreased by 7.3% compared to -9.5% in the Volga Federal District as a whole.
At the same time, the export of non-primary non-energy goods of Bashkortostan, compared to 2018, increased by 2.3% and reached $ 2.01 billion.
The top ten counterparty countries included China, Latvia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Malta, Finland, the Netherlands, India, Germany, Turkey. Trade with these countries amounted to 3.23 billion dollars. They account for 75% of the total republican foreign trade turnover.
