All smart stops will be united into single system in Ufa

In the Inors neighborhood, the Head of Bashkortostan examined the work of one of the 20 smart stopping pavilions. They are equipped with video cameras, a display board for the arrival of buses, as well as an emergency call system with the ability to transmit voice and image to the 112 system.

There is a zone of free Wi-Fi Internet access, USB ports, LED lighting, as well as a loudspeaker that allows notifying citizens about possible emergencies and necessary actions.

As it turned out, not all the functions of smart stops work yet. In particular, the Head of the Republic and those accompanying him did not manage to wait until the bus arrived at the appointed time shown on the display board. Radiy Khabirov instructed to eliminate all deficiencies in a short time.

Smart stops in the city will be united into a single smart system designed to improve the quality of service for passengers of ground public transport by providing them with relevant information, ensuring comfort and safety. Thus, the stops will become not only transport hubs but also an intelligent communications and assistance system for residents, said Ildar Yulanov, deputy head of the Ufa administration and the transport and communications department head.

In total, 106 such stopping pavilions were installed in the city.
