Bashneft commissioned new oil field

JSOC Bashneft (part of Rosneft's structure) has begun developing the Anastasy oil field in the Askinsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Production is carried out through a directionally inclined discovery well. The company plans to commission a second drilled exploratory well in this section.

The oil will be transported by pipeline to the neighboring Biavash field. The development of the new field is carried out by Bashneft-Dobycha LLC, the main operator of the JSOC Bashneft in oil and gas production.

Meanwhile, the survey of the West Kungaksky license area continues. Prospective recoverable resources of oil are estimated at 2 million tons, gas - 96 million m3.

According to Bashneft, the expansion of the resource base, the involvement of new reserves in the development, as well as the use of modern technologies is the strategic direction of the company to ensure stable hydrocarbon production in the medium and long term.
