Bashkiria - production leader in concrete pump trucks, trailers, soda ash, and inflatable boats

In 2019, the industry of Bashkiria produced goods worth 1.8 trillion rubles. The republic's share in Russian industrial production is 2.7% (9* position in the country). The production index increased over the year by 4.2% in 2019 (in Russia - by 2.4%), the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reports.

Bashkiria is the leader in the country in terms of oil supplied for refining, production of motor gasoline, diesel fuel, soda ash, thermally polished sheet glass, industrial furnaces and chambers, concrete pump trucks (Tuymazinsky Plant is the only Russian manufacturer of this special equipment), trailers and semi-trailers, inflatable ships.

The republic takes the 2nd place among the regions of the Russian Federation in terms of particle boards, silica gels, ethylene, benzene, xylene, styrene, primary forms of plastics, electric lamps, hydraulic and pneumatic engines, helicopters production.

It is the 3rd in the production of technical gas sulfur, synthetic rubbers in primary forms, pulley-blocks and hoists, and bodies for vehicles.

The region occupies 4th position in the manufacture of ceramic bricks, buses, caustic soda.
