Industrial production is growing in Bashkortostan following 2019 – Bashkortostan Statistics Agency

According to the results of 2019, industrial production is growing in Bashkortostan - the production index amounted to 104.2% by 2018.
The republican index of industrial production is ahead of the same indicator on average in Russia.
In the Russian Federation, the industrial production index in 2019 amounted to 102.4% by 2018. Mineral extraction exceeded the level of the year before last by 11.9%.
In manufacturing industries, the index was 100.4% by 2018.
Thus, high growth rates were achieved in printing and copying (140.8% by 2018), the production of paper and paper products (134.1%), computers, electronic and optical products (124.5%), oil products (116, 8%), pharmaceuticals and materials (115.0%), wood processing (112.2%), production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (110.6%).
A positive trend was also marked in the production of drinks (108.2%), other finished products, rubber and plastic products, other vehicles and equipment (105.9-106.4%), furniture (104.7%), chemicals and chemical products (101.0%).
The production of finished metal products decreased by 30.9% by 2018, electrical equipment, repair and installation of machinery and equipment - by 14.4-14.9%, production of other non-metallic mineral products, leather and leather products, textile products - by 10.5-11.8%, clothing production - by 8.6%, metallurgical production - by 4.8%, food production, machinery, and equipment - by 2.2-2.5%.
Industrial production index in the supplying of electric energy, gas, and steam; air conditioning amounted to 102.8% by 2018, water supply, sanitation, waste management, and pollution control activities - 104.7%.
In the regions of the Volga Federal District, this indicator ranged from 100.4% in the Orenburg region to 107.1% in the Republic of Mari El.
