Details of maternity hospital construction by Turkish company worth 3 billion rubles were discussed in Ufa

The Turkish company “SMK Stroyinvest”, together with Sberbank, will finance the construction of a new building for the maternity hospital No. 3 in Ufa under public-private partnership terms. Yesterday, the project was discussed in detail during the visit of the Turkish delegation led by Mehmet Samsar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to the Russian Federation, to the Development Corporation RB. The meeting was attended by Director General of the Corporation Rail Sarbayev, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Kazan Ismet Erikan, Chairman of the State Committee RB for Foreign Economic Relations Ruslan Mirsayapov.
The construction of a new maternity hospital building is planned to begin in June 2020, and the first women in labor will be admitted in 2022. The project cost is estimated at more than 3 billion rubles. The concession agreement between the Turkish company and Bashkortostan will be signed in the first quarter of this year. The project is supported by the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Recall, the day before, at the meeting of Mehmet Samsar with the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov in the House of the Republic, the participants discussed joint projects, in particular, one of the largest projects in the history of the Bashkir-Turkish projects - the construction of the Eastern Exit from Ufa.
Negotiations are underway with Turkish businessmen on the construction of a large transport terminal at Ufa Airport, as well as significant sports facilities - the Palace of Wrestling, the Palace of Volleyball. On January 31, a large delegation from Turkey will come to the light industry forum in Ufa. Currently, there is a direct flight from Ufa to Istanbul; the number of flights is planned to increase.
