Bashkiria exporters will receive doubled subsidies for goods transportation

UFA, 22 January 2020. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
This year, financing of the republican program of partial subsidizing of exporters for the transportation of goods abroad will double and reach 80 million rubles, it was announced at a meeting of the Public Council for Export Development under the Head of Bashkortostan.
As the Chairman of the State Committee for Foreign Economic Relations RB Ruslan Mirsayapov explained, "In 2020, 80 million rubles are planned for this purpose, which is twice as much as a year earlier”.
The republican program of partial subsidizing of exporters was launched in June last year. Due to it, the enterprises of Bashkortostan could compensate up to 5 million rubles for expenses on regular deliveries and up to 1 million rubles for “pilot” shipments.
On the example of the republic, similar programs have already been adopted in the Leningrad and Chelyabinsk regions.
In total, 39 enterprises of Bashkiria took advantage of the program last year. Of these, 31 companies received reimbursement for regular export deliveries - a total of 37.48 million rubles. Eight companies in the region received 2.52 million rubles for "pilot" shipments.
The total amount of exported goods exceeded 1.2 billion rubles, the cost of transport services amounted to 75.3 million rubles.
As Bashinform News Agency informed the day before, the republican government decided to expand the list of measures of state support for exporters. In particular, it refers to the provision of subsidies from the regional budget to resident producers of non-primary non-energy goods to reimburse part of the costs associated with the export of goods.
So, in December, the “Export Accelerator” program was launched. 113 companies of the region took part in 25 field exhibitions and business missions, as a result of which export contracts worth 347 million rubles have already been concluded, the government informs.
19 enterprises of Bashkortostan passed voluntary certification "Made in Russia", another 11 applications are under consideration. Such a certificate allows companies to make full use of the services of the Russian Export Center (REC).
“We have successfully implemented the Regional Export Standard 2.0 under the agreement concluded between the government of the republic and the REC. We were the first among the regions of the country to subsidize part of transport costs to exporters. An Action Plan was approved to promote the export of Bashkortostan to Austria, Kazakhstan, and Turkey. Over the 11 months of last year, the number of exporters from among small and medium-sized companies increased by 86 and reached 696 companies”, summarized the first vice-premier of the republican government Andrei Nazarov at a meeting of the Public Council for Export Development under the Head of Bashkortostan.
