2.5 thousand passengers traveled by Legend of Ural train in Bashkiria on New Year's holidays

In Bashkiria, on New Year's holidays, about 2.5 thousand passengers used the services of the Legend of the Ural suburban train, the press service of the Bashkortostan suburban passenger company said.

The popular tourist train "Legend of the Urals" of the Bashkortostan suburban passenger company in the winter season runs along an extended route - from Ufa station to Novoabzakovo station, which is located closer to the hotels of the Urals mountain resorts in Bashkiria. On these holidays, it ran daily from January 2 to 8, inclusive, departing from Ufa on 07.06 and arriving at its final destination - at Novoabzakovo station, on 13.07.

The route is served by a railbus, which usually consists of two or three carriages. On the way, stops are provided at Right Belaya, Dema, Urshak, Assakh, Inzer, Aigir, and Beloretsk.

In total, 8.4 thousand people used the services of this commuter train in 2019.

The Legend of the Urals train entered the Top 10 significant events that took place in the republic in the field of tourism. The idea of ​​developing a multimodal transportation format, in turn, was supported by travel companies in Bashkiria and the Chelyabinsk region, which began to organize their passenger transfers by the time the commuter train arrived. The Legend of the Urals train is also in demand by passengers in the summer season.
