Passenger traffic increased by almost one third at Ufa Airport during New Year holidays

During the New Year holidays, 88 thousand people used the services of the Ufa International Airport. This is the highest rate in the Volga Federal District. The passenger traffic grew by 27% compared with the New Year holidays-2019, according to the press service of Ufa Airport.

Thus, the number of passengers on domestic airlines increased by 16%, on international routes - by 61%.

“The most popular overseas destinations on New Year's holidays were Kamran, Sanya, and Utapao. Goa, Istanbul, Dubai, and Vienna were also on the list. Among Russian cities, residents of the republic chose to spend New Year holidays in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi, ” the airport’s press service added.

The maximum load in terms of passengers served fell on January 5, 2020. On this day, the Ufa airport served over 11.8 thousand passengers.
