Bashkiria agribusiness exports totaled $92.5 million in 11 months

The agricultural sector of Bashkortostan exported products worth $ 92.5 million for 11 months of 2019, according to the Federal Customs Service. Overfulfillment of the annual plan amounted to $1.5 million, the Ministry of Agriculture RB noted. The structure of exports has changed significantly. If in 2018 the main share fell on grain, now it is oil and fat products - 43.5%. Cereals account for 18.2%, oilseeds, and alcohols - 21%, meat, and dairy products accounted for 3%, food, and processing industry products - 14.4%.

Republican agricultural products are supplied to the CIS countries, Turkey, Iran, Mongolia, and the Baltic countries. Today, active work is underway to enter the Chinese market, as one of the largest and most promising markets, the Ministry of Agriculture informed. Thus, in October 2019, representatives of the PRC Main Customs Administration (GACC) visited Bashkiria to study the possibility of accrediting the republic for the supply of wheat and sunflower meal to China.
