Milk production reached 1.582 million tons in Bashkiria

Since the beginning of the year, milk production has reached 1.582 million tons in all categories of farms in Bashkiria, according to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the region.

“Of these, 688 thousand tons of milk were obtained in agricultural enterprises and farms of the republic. This is by 13.2 thousand tons more than the last year,” said Almaz Galimov, spokesman for the department.

According to him, among the districts of Bashkiria, the Chekmagushevsky district holds a strong lead in gross milk production in agricultural organizations - more than 53 thousand tons year to date.

Moreover, most of the milk in the republic was obtained by the “Urozhay” agricultural enterprise. Since the beginning of the year, over 20 thousand tons of milk have been received here.
