Bashkiria budget revenues are planned at 204.6 billion rubles, expenses - 226.6 billion in 2020

The day before, the deputies of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan adopted in final reading the law "On the budget of the Republic of Bashkortostan for 2020 and for the planning period 2021 and 2022". In accordance with it, next year the republic’s revenues are forecasted for 204.6 billion rubles, expenses will amount to 226.6 billion rubles. A deficit of 22 billion is provided by sources of financing the deficit.

According to the Speaker of the Republican Parliament, Konstantin Tolkachev, these parameters will be repeatedly specified over the next year during budget execution.

“Such adjustments are made every time. They are connected with the fact that the region manages to receive its own revenues and subventions from the federal center in larger volumes than originally planned”, he said.

The Speaker of the parliament stressed that the republic’s budget was once again socially oriented. This means that the funds will be directed mainly towards the fulfillment by the state of social obligations to citizens. The funds are provided for education, healthcare, social policy, housing and utility services, culture and sports.

The draft budget law was considered by all the committees of the republican parliament. Before the final adoption of the law, the proposals of the deputies were taken into account, as well as the recommendations of the participants in public hearings that were held on the bill after it was first read, the press service of the State Assembly RB reported.
