“Bashkortostan Calling!” First Investment Forum has opened in Ufa

The “Bashkortostan Calling!” First Investment Forum began its work in the Ufa “Toratau” Congress Hall.

The main task of the 2019 forum is to discuss with strategic investors the formation of effective regional policy in the republic.

Representatives of federal executive bodies, the Russian Direct Investment Fund, the Industrial Development Fund, the Mono-Cities Development Fund, as well as more than 500 participants from Asia and Europe, about 300 large companies, 120 media representatives, 25 speakers arrived at the Bashkir capital to take part in the investment forum.

It is planned to sign about six cooperation agreements.

In the morning, a meeting of the Council of the Union "Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bashkortostan" will be held, several sections will start their work. “Business Support Infrastructure: Industrial Parks, Economic Zones, Development Institutions”, “Business under Protection” and “Digital World. Investing in the Future” are among them.

In the afternoon, a presentation of the republic “Bashkortostan Calling!”, a plenary meeting “Bashkortostan is a Profitable Investment Territory” will be held moderated by the Russian journalist and TV presenter Vladimir Pozner.

Besides, a meeting of the Club of Active Investors “Alga, Bashkiria!” is planned.

The organizers of the forum are the Government of Bashkortostan, the Ministry of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the region, the Congress Bureau of Bashkortostan, the regional branch of Delovaya Rossiya, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry RB.
