Near the village of Ivano-Kazanka, a local farmer Fanis Khalilov is engaged in bee-log wild-hive beekeeping. He told the head of Bashkortostan about his plans to create a Honey Village on the lands he rents. It should be done in an authentic style, as an imitation of a Bashkir village with a dozen houses for guests, a food court and functional houses - houses of a hunter, beekeeper, koumiss maker, fisherman, craft workshops and others.
Entrepreneur Arthur Idelbaev said that tourists had already begun to travel here and the place was popular, given the close distance from Ufa.
The estimated cost of building the village is 227 million rubles. The plans include the construction of a republican museum of honey, an asphalt road along the village 1.5 km long, and a gas pipeline to the honey village with the connection of the private sector. The head of the farm has already invested 15 million rubles in the project and plans to invest another 10 million rubles of his funds.
This project was reviewed and supported by the republican organizing committee for the preparation for the Apimondia World Beekeepers Congress, which will be held in 2021. The Bashkir Wild-Hive Apiary project is considered as a technical tour for visiting guests (approximately 8 thousand people in three days).
On the recommendation of the chairman of the organizing committee, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, a business plan is being prepared for the project to participate in national and federal grant competitions. Radiy Khabirov admitted that he saw a bee-log wild-hive apiary for the first time.
“We will support the project of the Honey Village, which will develop both the beekeeping industry, traditional for the republic, and the tourism sector. I liked everything here”, said Radiy Khabirov.
