At the same time, the working hours on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, are reduced by one hour.
Thus, during the five-day and six-day working weeks, days off are January 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 January 2020.
When providing annual main or annual additional paid leave, non-working holidays are not included in the number of calendar days of leave: January 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.
As the Bashinform News Agency reported previously, the State Assembly of Bashkiria does not support the initiative of several Russian regions to make December 31 a day off. The official position of the parliament was announced by the Chairman of the State Assembly, Konstantin Tolkachev. He believes that expanding the list of holidays in the republic may adversely affect the economy of the region.
