Growth of investment in fixed assets exceeded 15% in Bashkiria year to date

In 2019, the growth of investment in the economy of Bashkiria amounted to 15%. It was announced by Radiy Khabirov in his Message to the State Assembly RB on December 10.

“We learned how to work with federal ministries and corporations. We were able to coordinate the opening of three new priority development areas. We are persistently moving towards the creation of the “Alga” special economic zone, which, I am sure, will give a powerful impetus to the development of the Sterlitamak-Ishimbay-Salavat agglomeration, the launch of modern production facilities there”, Khabirov stated.

In August, Bashkiria launched the development of the largest in Russia Podolsky field. Investments in this project by the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company will amount to 50 billion rubles. Among other promising large-scale projects, Khabirov called the start of work on the creation of a gas processing complex at Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat, the construction of a hydrocarbon gas processing unit at the Salavat enterprise “Doga”. In the Sterlitamak region, the company "Stereks Pak" is building a plant for the production of popular multi-layer aseptic packaging. The Lasselsberger company launches the production of dry building mixes in the Abzelilovsky district. Here, the Russian Copper Company begins to develop a copper ore deposit. UMMC-Holding implements large-scale projects at the Yubileynoye and Novo-Uchalinskoye fields.

“In general, we are planning to implement 100 innovative projects. The republic has a powerful industrial park "Promcenter". Over four years, its residents paid a billion rubles to the regional budget. 1,200 jobs were created here. We decided to support this successful project and increase its area by another 10 thousand square meters. Three of our industrial parks - the “Center for Agricultural Technologies” in Chishminsky District, “Ufimsky” and “Nizhegorodsky” in the Ufa District - won the competition of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and will receive federal support in the amount of 755 million rubles. It is a decisive victory.

Moreover, Bashkiria, for the first time took part in this competition. Now we are promoting several more of our projects. We have huge potential in the agricultural sector, especially for the production of high value-added products. Soon, with the “Bashbiotech” company, we are launching the largest project in the history of the agro-industrial complex of the republic for the construction of deep grain processing complex in the Sterlitamak district. It is planned to invest 63 billion rubles there”, Khabirov said.

The Head of the Republic also cited the example of the soft cheeses production by the French company “Savensia” at the Belebeyevsky Dairy Plant, livestock farms by the “Severnaya Niva” holding in the Yermekeevsky district, the feedlot of the Italian company “Cremonini Group” in the Fedorovsky district, pig-breeding complexes of the “Tavros” group of companies in Belebeyevsky and Alsheevsky districts of the republic.
